Public involvement and community engagement (PICE)Public involvement and community engagement (PICE) is at the heart of everything the HDRC is doing to create Better Evidence for Better Decisions. The HDRC work closely with residents and community groups to ensure our work is shaped together, reflecting the priorities, experiences, and insights of those who matter most.
One example of this collaborative approach is our partnership with an activity group at St Deny’s Community Centre. They played an important role in developing our Better Evidence, Better Decisions bid and feedback is shared in the video. As a valued member of our Steering Group, the community group, alongside others from St Deny’s Activity Centre, has worked with the HDRC to co-develop a PICE plan. Their involvement has helped ensure the plan truly reflects the needs and perspectives of our community.
The video below is an interview with a HDRC public contributor about their involvement with the HDRC.
